Why do this?

AI can give us answers faster than ever. That does not mean we should stop thinking.

Hi, I’m Bob McTaggart. I have spent much of my life in environments where decisions carried real consequences: military service, business, innovation, changing regulation and difficult personal experience.

One lesson kept repeating itself. Better outcomes usually began with better thinking. Not perfect information. Not certainty. Better questions.

Critical Thinking Anchor is designed to reinforce that habit. It does not make the decision for you. It slows the moment down and keeps human judgment where it belongs: in the loop.

“The goal is not to make people dependent on software. The goal is to strengthen critical thinking whether the software is available or not.”
01One practical DHITL thinking skill each week
02One story showing why it matters
03One guided software practice
04One pencil-and-paper Anchor Drill

Distributed Human-in-the-Loop

A human in the loop must do more than be present. The human must notice, question, verify and accept responsibility.

Critical-thinking reinforcement

The software is designed to encourage repeated practice until stronger thinking becomes a habit.

Weekly Anchor Drill

Each weekly skill is paired with a five-minute pencil-and-paper exercise that works without AI or software.
